The Harbour School has three main locations, including a school in Owings Mills, MD where GMS performed this air conditioner rooftop unit replacement. GMS had just four weeks to order, deliver, mobilize and install twenty packaged air conditioner rooftop units. Despite the tight timelines, the project was completed on schedule. The project included the removal, using crane and rigging, of the existing air conditioner rooftop units and replacement with twenty new units. Our team re-utilized the existing steel base and roof curb and installed sheet metal connections as needed for the new air conditioner rooftop units to connect to the existing ducting system. All new pipe, valves and fittings were needed in order to hook up the new air conditioner rooftop units and integrate them into the existing system. All pre-functional tests were performed on the air conditioner rooftop units which were then placed into operation.
