GMS has a contract to perform the annual certification of 55 backflow prevention devices within the Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC. GMS also provides replacement or repair services for any units that do not meet the certification standards. The units range in size from ¾-inch to 8-inch and are located throughout the facility. Washington DC requires that all backflow devices be inspected and maintained annually by a WSSC-certified backflow prevention technician and once GMS has performed the inspections, we work with DC water to ensure that all units are updated within their system and physically tagged to show compliance.
