Cart Washer and Gas Sterilizer

The original sterile processing section equipment serving this building was old and no longer able to provide the services required. GMS was engaged to design and install a new solution that incorporated a Cart Washer and Gas Sterilizer. The project was performed in stages with the design services for the architectural, mechanical and electrical coming in the first phase and construction services in the second. The construction project involved the installation of the new equipment and all other utilities to support it including: steam, condensate, plumbing and electrical. GMS also needed to evaluate the HVAC system and modify to meet the new loads and return all damaged building elements and surfaces to their original conditions.
